The RPM FRICTION Pro pickleball paddle is a top choice among professional players, offering an unparalleled blend of spin, power and control. RPM stands for Revolutions Per Minute, aka “spin,” which was our first priority. Our cofounders spent years curious about how to impart more spin on the ball and felt that paddle technology was behind in this regard. As a direct result, our engineers at RPM LABS developed a formula to optimize the “coefficient of friction” on our extremely gritty carbon fiber surface - allowing players to access levels of spin they’ve never accessed before. 

Additionally, we’ve maximized the “dwell time” on this paddle. Dwell time refers to how long a pickleball rests on the paddle surface during contact, or how deeply it will be “pocketed” by the surface. Our Tri-Density core is made from materials that maximize flexibility, resulting in improved dwell time, precision, and confidence with every shot.

The RPM 16mm wide body is a great paddle and fun to play with . I found it plays better than the Joola pro IV paddle! The RPM was quick in my hand at the net and was great at resets all while feeling soft and plush when the ball comes off the face. I like a paddle that feels soft and has some dwell coming off the face!
I was playing with both the Joola pro IV and new Gearbox pro prior to getting the RPM. The RPM is almost more fun to play with .
Hometown pickleball is now my go to for all pickleball purchases ! I called and was able to speak to the owner about the paddle and other questions . For me customer service and company accessibility and reliability makes all the difference in who I choose to give my hard earned money to and put my trust in ! Thank you Hometown Pickleball !
