The Fuze, with a new grit surface
The Fuze VantaGrit is Holbrook's update to the Fuze. It pairs the Fuze's patent-pending Dual Density Foam Core with VantaGrit, a new grit surface built for durability. Holbrook has announced an October 15 launch at $199.99.
What we know so far
- VantaGrit surface. A new grit face texture that Holbrook positions as longer lasting. The Kitchen's preview reports more spin than the original Fuze with the same power and pop.
- Dual Density Foam Core. Carried over from the Fuze: higher-density foam in the upper part of the paddle and lower-density foam at the center. Holbrook says this evens out the response across the face, including on off-center contact.
- Full foam core. That puts it in the Gen 4 foam-core category.
- Hybrid shape, 16mm. Hybrid shapes sit between elongated and widebody, balancing reach and face width.
- Color. White.
What Holbrook hasn't published yet
Weight, swing weight, twist weight, paddle dimensions, handle length, grip size and USA Pickleball approval status haven't been released for the VantaGrit models. We'll add them here as soon as Holbrook publishes them.
