Diadem's Edge Flex is coming to Hometown Pickleball.
The Edge Flex is Diadem's follow-up to the Edge BluCore, built around a hitting surface designed to deflect on impact and rebound through the ball instead of a rigid face that punches back. This is the Hybrid 16mm: Diadem's hybrid shape on a 16mm core — the highest twist weight of the three Edge Flex models. What Diadem has published so far
- Flex System (patent pending) — the face is built to deflect under impact and rebound through the ball. Diadem's stated goal is longer dwell time on the face.
- Dual Spine — two internal support rods run through the paddle to carry the load the flexing face gives up, keeping the frame stable on off-center contact.
- Amplify Core — a ringed core that stiffens progressively from the middle outward, so the outer face keeps returning energy toward the edges.
- Durable Grit — the 18K carbon weave is fused into the hitting surface rather than applied as a sprayed-on grit coating.
- USA Pickleball approved.
- Three models at launch: Pro 14, Pro 16 and Hybrid 16.
