RPM Q2 Elongated 16mm: Why It's Our Best-Selling Paddle
Share
The RPM Q2 has been our best-selling paddle over the last few months, and once you look at what's actually in it, it's not hard to see why.
Built With a Legend
The Q2 is the launch paddle of RPM's new Q Series, developed in collaboration with paddle engineer and reviewer John Kew. It's a full-foam performance build, refined through targeted foam density and rebound tuning across different zones of the face — the goal being a firmer, more connected feel on contact without losing forgiveness on off-center hits.
The Specs
- Surface: Carbon fiber
- Core thickness: 16mm (also available in 14mm)
- Average weight: 7.8oz
- Swing weight: 114
- Paddle length / width: 16.5" x 7.5"
- USAP approved: PBCoR .43, Professional Level class
That combination — carbon face, tuned foam core, pro-level approval — is why this paddle shows up in advanced and competitive players' bags as often as it does in ours.
16mm or 14mm?
- 16mm Elongated — a firmer, more stable feel, popular with players who want maximum control on contact.
- 14mm Elongated — slightly more give in the core for extra touch on dinks and resets, same elongated shape and carbon face.
