A pickleball buddy down here in Sarasota told me about Hometown Pickleball. I used them to buy my RPM paddle. Great experience all around. In fact, I'm using them to buy another RPM for a friend. Nice to find a reliable and reasonable source for future purchases and help a small business in the process.
Moved from the Joola Perseus IV. Play similarly, so an easy transition. RPM gives me more spin, so noticing more dip on my drives. Main difference is the consistent feel and pop across the entire paddle face. Noticed that within the first five minutes. May have lost bit of speed on my serve but hasn't been a problem. In fact, I've added a deep serve with lots of topspin that's actually more effective that my super-fast serve. If you're using the Perseus IV and looking to add a little edge to your game, this might be the answer. It has been for me.
